There are two mega events lined-up at Clarke Quay that you can look forward to, the events are The Great Clarke Quay FEASTival and New Year’s Eve Block Party 2018!

An inaugural outdoor pop-up dining concept, The Great Clarke Quay FEASTival will showcase the impressive repertoire of cuisines available at Clarke Quay and welcomes visitors to explore the myriad flavours offered street-style on Read Bridge, in a convivial outdoor setting, under the stars, overlooking the Singapore River. Eat your way through Clarke Quay trying different cuisines by 15 restaurants this coming 5th to 9th December 2018, 6pm onwards.

Signature dishes and curated cocktails will be the highlight at The Great Clarke Quay FEASTival. Visitors will be able to sample selected menu favourites at special tasting prices ($10-$32) from the 15 restaurants represented. Cocktails, wine and craft beers will also be made available so that you can pair them with food or simply enjoy the entertainment and liquid libations with friends on the bridge.

Notable Asian cuisine must-tries include Tsui Wah’s signature pork chop buns ($7.50), East Treasure’s double boiled tonic soup with crocodile meat ($8), Ramen Keisuke Lobster King’s Ramen ($10) and Zouk’s RedTail Bar’s prawn twister with sweet Thai chili sauce ($12).

From the international selection, feast on pork knuckle sliders served with sauerkraut ($8) from newly opened Deutsclander, Bizengyu Japanese grade 3 Wagyu ($15) from The Ranch or Marisco Seafood Paella ($10) from Octapas. Popular street food tacos, burgers, sausages and wraps come in all taste and forms by Cask & Bangers, Cuba Libre, Harry’s Bar, McGettigan’s, Rodizio Do Brazil, Señor Taco, and The Pump Room.

Meeting on the bridge and joining the feast from across the river, Swissotel Merchant Court will be bringing to the table Durian Pengat ($6), an Ellenborough Market signature together with KB Burger or Kong Pak with pork floss, a Hokkien pork belly bun dish but with a twist ($5 for 2 pieces).

The Great Clarke Quay FEASTival brings together the very best of international cuisine in a street food format. Dine on the bridge and soak up the music and instagram-worthy entertainment brought to you by the various bands and DJs who would otherwise only perform at their respective venues.

The Great Clarke Quay FEASTival takes place 5th to 9th December 2018, 6pm onwards on Read Bridge. Admission is free.

Next up, it’s time to pop the champagne at Clarke Quay’s New Year’s Eve block Party Countdown 31st December 2018, 9pm onwards, Monday. Bid goodbye to 2018 and ring in 2019 with a playful twist at Clarke Quay’s annual New Year’s Eve Countdown featuring a line-up of bands, DJs and MCs who will rave up the party atmosphere with music and entertainment at Clarke Quay’s Fountain Square. This year’s NYE’s block party theme PLAY will see specially constructed three-dimensional, solid-shaped play block structures designed to bring a fun and imaginative playground element to the party.

There’s never been a better time to unleash your inner child then this New Year’s eve. Vibrant coloured interlocking play blocks symbolizing the four main enclaves of Clarke Quay will be fabricated to create the main stage and various play areas. Expect to find a pedal-powered LED wall that will light up the harder you pedal; converting cycling power into beautiful illuminating patterns and lights.

Set your imagination free the minute you enter Clarke Quay where roaming, dancing, green “toy soldiers” and The Unicorn Parade (3m tall unicorn mascots) will interact with party-goers; providing many instagram-worthy photo moments to strike a pose and put on your best smile for the new year.

On stage, DJs Gerald Koh and Kimberly Wang from 987FM will host the countdown into 2019 with the party kicking into gear high at 9pm with award winning local band Shirlyn & The UnXpected performing energetic covers. There will be lots of stage games to get the show going before midnight strikes on New Year’s eve.

At midnight, raise your glasses and toast to the new year singing the traditional song of Auld Lang Syne, a time honoured custom practiced around the world. The party continues all around Clarke Quay at various bars and clubs.

Clarke Quay invites all to their PLAY themed block party 31st December, 9pm onwards, admission is free!
