Zhang YiFei, a self-taught digital artist, is pleased to announce her debut exhibition, ‘Metamorphosis,’ scheduled to take place from November 5th to 6th, 2023, at The Arts House, Gallery II.
Redefining artistry, challenging norms and expectations, her art is a unique, creative technique, breaking away from traditional artistic conventions. Her digital and visual art showcases resilience in life’s adversity and many conflicts to the beauty of life, explores how one can find strength in challenging situations, and portrays a deeper message on how the human spirit is able to endure and overcome obstacles, thus yielding moments of profound beauty and introspection.
‘Metamorphosis’ is a must-see, exhilarating exhibition that offers an opportunity for visitors and art collectors for the first time, to delve the creative realm and be immersed in Zhang YiFei’s thoughts and emotions through different bespoke installations, specially curated by Nicholas Lin who is able to thoughtfully materialise Zhang YiFei’s creative vision. Well-known Embroidery Artist, Anni Tai from Kuala Lumpur will also be showcasing her embroidery creativity with Zhang YiFei’s art in one of the installations.
With animations created by Nicole Fun, expect a multi-sensory experience transporting visitors to their imaginary world, that not only engages the visual sense but also the auditory senses with music by Zhang YiFei, who recently launched her debut EP, ‘Me and Me’.
