Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) Singapore launches its first marine-themed educational fiesta, Imagine/Native – A Creative Fest for Kids! The event was kicked off by five popular mascots – Ang Ku Kueh Girl, Clifford The Big Red Dog, Geronimo Stilton, Thea Stilton and Singa the Lion and attended by 80 children beneficiaries from low income families through the People’s Association Network.

Well-known authors, David Seow and Edmund Chen made special appearances during the launch to conduct storytelling sessions for the children.
Look out for the impressive huge shelf display of about 8,000 children books out of more than 10,000 books donated by the public and the team members of RWS as part of RWS corporate social responsibility initiative and the People’s Association at Community Clubs (CC) including Marine Parade CC, Paya Lebar-Kovan CC, Tanjong Pagar CC, Bukit Batok CC and Nee Soon Central CC from 4 March to 17 April 2016 to benefit the children from low income families.
RWS’s Imagine/Native – Creative Fest for Kids! will be held till 12 June 2016. Visitors can expect to watch a combination of live performances, attend book launches, workshops, talks by local authors and illustrators such as Stephanie Wong (The Diary of Amos Lee), David Seow (Return To The S.E.A. Aquarium) and A.J. Low (Sherlock Sam), meet and greet sessions and a host of fun activities set around a fascinating marine theme located at Resorts World Sentosa’s (RWS) Maritime Experiential Museum which is part of the S.E.A. Aquarium.
During the Imagine/Native – Creative Fest for Kids! event, RWS will be offering a 15 per cent discount on all the books! There is also a lucky draw with up to S$15,000 prizes to be won! There is a wide variety of books available and with such good discount and offers, it is a good opportunity to get your favourite books and assessment/enrichment books are available too.
