From 5:00pm to 9:30pm, take part in our first ever Street Chess by Aliwal Chess Club — a casual, open-to-all activation where you can challenge friends, co-workers or even a fellow park-goer to a friendly chess match right in the heart of Raffles Place. Known as Singapore’s #1 unorthodox chess collective, Aliwal Chess Club brings the game to life with a unique blend of strategy, street style, and creative culture — turning everyday spaces into unexpected battlegrounds for the mind.
Next, rediscover the charm of traditional Singaporean games with artist collective PLAY!, who will be facilitating childhood favourites like marbles, chapteh and pick-up sticks. Whether you’re reliving memories with your colleagues or introducing these games to a new generation, it’s a delightful way to slow down and connect.
Enjoy the Rhythm of the City with Live Music & a DJ Set
From 5:30pm to 7:30pm, enjoy two live performances in the park. Start your evening with a DJ set by El Professionel at 5:00pm, as he brings the park to life with infectious beats and feel-good vibes.
Then at 6:30pm, local singer Benny takes the stage with a soulful acoustic set, delivering heartfelt tunes that are perfect for winding down as the sun sets over the city skyline.
