In celebration of the Year of the Horse, Chen’s Kitchen invites diners to mark the festive occasion with thoughtfully curated Japanese-Szechwan Lunar New Year Set Menus, designed to bring warmth, abundance, and togetherness to every celebration.
Available from 19 January to 3 March 2026, Chen’s Kitchen’s Lunar New Year offerings include festive set menus and an à la carte Prosperity Yu Sheng, suitable for dine-in, self-pickup, and delivery (with selected blackout dates). Helmed by Chef Kentaro, the four-time Michelin Bib Gourmand-recognised restaurant blends Japanese finesse with bold Szechwan flavours, creating a dining experience that feels both comforting and celebratory.
A Feast Designed for Every Reunion
Crafted with sharing in mind, the Lunar New Year set menus strike a balance between festive symbolism, flavour, and accessibility. Diners can choose between two themed menus, Blissful and Blossom available in 4, 6, and 8 pax options, making them ideal for families and gatherings of all sizes.
Each set menu is accompanied by Prosperity Yu Sheng (发财鱼生), a festive staple symbolising abundance, good fortune, and success for the year ahead. To elevate the celebration further, guests may opt for add-on dishes such as the Crispy Grouper with Sweet & Sour Sauce 酸甜鱼（红斑） at S$69.90++ or the comforting and nostalgic Chen’s Abacus Seeds (算盘子) at S$38.80++.
With carefully considered price points and generous portions, the menus are designed to make festive dining both meaningful and approachable.
New Dishes to Look Forward to in 2026
Chen’s Kitchen will also be introducing several CNY-exclusive dishes permanently to its menu. Diners can look forward to new additions such as Kungpao Chicken and Mala Mayo Prawns, expanding the restaurant’s predominantly Japanese-Szechwan repertoire. These new dishes will be available year-round, allowing guests to continue enjoying festive favourites well beyond the Lunar New Year period.

Dine-In, Takeaway or Delivery Options
The Blissful and Blossom set menus are available for dine-in, self-pickup, and delivery throughout the festive period. However, from 16 to 18 February 2026, the menus will be offered exclusively for dine-in and self-pickup, with delivery services temporarily unavailable.

Availability Across Chen’s Outlets
The Prosperity Yu Sheng 发财鱼生, will be available at all Chen’s outlets, including Chen’s Kitchen. The CNY Set menus are exclusively only available at Chen’s Kitchen. Chen’s is located at The Star Vista, Downtown Gallery and PLQ mall.
