Two-day festival, held over Friday and Saturday, sparks new green habits through practical workshops and activities focused on cutting waste, upcycling, and boosting wellbeing.

Earthopia Fest, organised by City Sprouts and Just Keep Thinking, marks the nation’s inaugural youth-led sustainability festival. Happening on 24 and 25 October at Dhoby Ghaut Green, the two-day event invites the community to experience sustainability in action through engaging workshops, thought-provoking talks and wellness activities, all designed to inspire participants to turn awareness into tangible action for a greener future.
“We want Earthopia Fest to be a reflection of the vision behind City Sprouts where we reimagine how communities can come together to live, learn and act sustainably. We hope attendees will roll up their sleeves, try something new, and discover joy in making a real difference, together,” says Zac Toh, CEO and Founder of City Sprouts.
Themes to Power Daily Action: Climate Action, Circular Living, Wellness
Earthopia Fest centres on three key themes: Climate Action, Circular Living, and Wellness, each showing how everyone can weave sustainability into daily life. From mindful eating, to upcycling crafts, to taking care of our own wellbeing, Earthopia makes green living practical and uplifting.
Kong Man Jing (Biogirl MJ), co-founder of Just Keep Thinking shares, “Science and sustainability should be fun, relatable, and easy to put into practice. Earthopia Fest is about showing that even small changes in our lifestyle and the food we eat can make a real difference. I hope the festival sparks curiosity and empowers young people to see that living sustainably can be both exciting and rewarding.”
Focusing on Climate Action, she will run a workshop helping participants brainstorm, script, and create digital content on sustainability. Attendees will learn to simplify green ideas into powerful stories, leaving with real skills to support climate solutions in Singapore.
Meanwhile, under Circular Living, attendees can explore a series of workshops spanning food, craft, and style. Circular food sessions will focus on reducing waste in the kitchen, showing how everyday ingredients can be transformed into delicious, sustainable dishes. Circular craft workshops invite participants to give discarded items new life as functional or decorative pieces, turning waste into something of value. For those interested in fashion, circular style sessions will highlight thrift and styling tips, demonstrating how wardrobes can be refreshed sustainably through creative upcycling and pairing pre-loved finds in new ways. Together, these activities provide not only practical skills but also inspire a mindset of creativity, resourcefulness, and conscious living.
The Wellness track, set in the greenery of Dhoby Ghaut, links self-care to caring for the planet. Attendees can immerse themselves in Elemental Yoga that blends movement with mindfulness, or Gong Bath where healing vibrations promote deep rest, mental clarity, and emotional balance. These sessions remind us that sustainability is not only about what we consume, but also about how we nurture our own wellbeing to stay resilient in creating positive change.
Festival Beats: From Roving Acts to Evening Stage Shows
Earthopia Fest celebrates creativity through live music and roving performances. Coffee-Clubbing concept party organiser Beans & Beats, will fill the grounds with vibrant energy during the day. As the sun sets, the stage will transform into a community concert space, featuring popular local acts such as Benjamin Kheng, Island Voices, Estelle Fly, and DJ Hammy. Every show brings the community together, celebrating sustainability and shared purpose in a vibrant, fun way.
Taste, Shop, and Do Good: Retail and F&B at Earthopia Fest
Beyond workshops and performances, Earthopia Fest invites attendees to explore a feel-good retail marketplace and conscious F&B zone. The marketplace features sustainable products, artisanal crafts, and eco-friendly finds that encourage mindful shopping from local businesses such as The Wild Swells with their handcrafted natural lip balms and The Powder Shampoo, a planet-first, plastic-free and plant-powered brand with the mission to revolutionise the personal care industry.
The F&B zone will tempt tastebuds with creative bites from Average Service, alongside treats from Supersub and Marumochi. Visitors can also cool off with craft beers from Singapore’s own Sunbird Brewing Company, renowned for their innovative, award-winning brews. Together, the marketplace and food village turn sustainability into a delicious, accessible and enjoyable lifestyle choice.
