Blooming Imagination: Where art meets the decadence of chocolate
At the heart of this Spring/Summer season is Blooming Imagination, Paragon’s collaboration with internationally acclaimed chef-artist and chocolatier, Janice Wong.
From 9 April to 3 May 2026, the Main Atrium will be transformed into a dreamlike chocolate garden, presenting Singapore’s largest edible art experience. The showcase is also set to enter the Singapore Book of Records as the largest art installation made of chocolate, bringing together art, design and gastronomy in a multi-sensory world of discovery.
Inspired by the natural geometry of blooms, Blooming Imagination draws from floral forms such as the radial daisy, clustered blossoms and rosettes, reinterpreted through Janice Wong’s distinctive artistic lens. Crafted using 800kg of chocolate, each element is meticulously placed by hand, forming intricate patterns that envelop the walls and ceilings of three immersive tunnels. Built exclusively for Paragon, the installation transforms these organic motifs into a striking edible landscape, where no two pieces are alike, and every detail reflects a celebration of craftsmanship, precision and imagination.
The installation unfolds across three immersive tunnels, each inspired by a distinct style from Janice Wong’s celebrated work, spanning wall murals, tablescapes and standing sculptures. Visitors are invited into shifting landscapes of texture, colour and form, where sculptural chocolate creations blur the boundaries between edible and artistic. Amid Orchard Road’s fast-paced rhythm, Blooming Imagination offers a rare moment of pause and an invitation to slow down and engage the senses and rediscover a sense of curiosity and wonder.
Lending an air of French refinement to the Blooming Imagination installation, Christofle curates a bespoke visual merchandising display that places the Maison’s celebrated silverware and porcelain in the company of Janice Wong’s handcrafted bon bons.
Taking centre stage is the Malmaison Riviera collection, a sun-drenched homage to Mediterranean living that marries vibrant hand-drawn porcelain pieces with the Maison’s signature mirror-polished silver. Founded in Paris in 1830, Christofle has spent nearly two centuries dressing the grandest tables in the world, from royal residences to the gilded halls of the Paris Opera. Here at Paragon, that storied heritage meets whimsical edible art in a display that is altogether indulgent, poetic and unforgettable.
Entry to the Blooming Imagination installation is complimentary and open to all shoppers.
