From the moment we stepped into the Sands Theatre, we were swept up in theatrical magic. Jonathan Roxmouth’s portrayal of the Phantom was both chilling and deeply emotional, a haunting presence whose vocals moved effortlessly between menace and vulnerability. Grace Roberts’ Christine was enchanting, her voice soaring beautifully and her performance capturing Christine’s innocence and inner conflict with touching subtlety.
The chemistry between the leads felt natural and powerful, enhancing the emotional weight of their story. Visually, the show was breathtaking without overwhelming; the seamless transitions and immersive lighting effects, especially during the boat scene, felt cinematic yet intimate.
