From coding robots to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, these holiday sessions go beyond keeping kids busy — they help them build confidence, explore new interests, and find what truly excites them, before academic priorities take centre stage.
This June school holiday, UOL Malls — KINEX, United Square, and Velocity@Novena Square — will launch the first-ever U-Camp Holiday Workshops, running from 30 May to 6 July 2025. The curated programme offers exploratory, interest-based sessions designed to help children and teens explore what they’re good at and build confidence along the way.
From robotics and music to martial arts and chess, the camp supports a growing shift in how families approach learning — one that values creativity, character-building, and real-world skills alongside academic achievement. It’s a timely chance for kids to branch out, try new things, and gain a sense of self before the pace of the school year picks up again.
Encouraging Exploration Through a Variety of Programmes
Across the three malls, the camp offers a curated lineup of interest-based classes tailored to each location. From coding and robotics to K-pop dance, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, cooking, music and art jamming, the activities differ by mall but share a common goal: to help kids explore new interests while building confidence, creativity, and social-emotional skills.
Led by experienced coaches and educators in their respective fields, these sessions provide a supportive environment where kids are encouraged to try new things, express themselves freely, and grow through experience. For parents, it’s a meaningful way to spend the break while supporting their children’s development in ways that last.
This variety is designed with kids’ natural interests in mind. Whether they’re drawn to movement, creativity, technology, or performance, each mall features a unique mix of age-appropriate programmes that give children and teens the chance to explore and discover at their own pace.
At KINEX, kids can explore music with Fine Momentum Academy’s introduction to drum grooves, paint sneakers with MurcyArt Gallery, and design games at The Lab. They can also express themselves through K-pop dance, art, and cooking with Distinct Creative Arts, Tree Art, and Little Cook. There’s also Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with Evolve MMA, basketball clinics, and PSLE Mastery Class with Mavis Tutorial Centre.
United Square offers a balance of academics and creative learning, with programmes from Aspire Hub Education, Hua Language Centre, and Chess at Three. Kids can also try Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, join basketball clinics, play at Smigy, or learn music and art with Mandeville Conservatory of Music and Tree Art. And, for a fun bonding experience, join Asterspring’s skincare workshop with your child!
At Velocity, the focus is on active experiences — from beginner Muay Thai at Fight Zone and climbing at Climb Central, to pickleball sessions at the L1 Outdoor Court and music classes with Believer Music. Suitable for all ages and skill levels, these beginner-friendly workshops provide a platform to try new things and have fun!
