Paragon presents Hello Summer, a refined yet playful celebration of the season that brings together scent, music, and visual artistry in a captivating multi-sensory showcase this summer. From 1 July to 10 August 2025, the iconic Orchard Road mall transforms into an immersive oasis of creativity and discovery. In anticipation of SG60, the campaign also weaves in elements of national pride, spotlighting local talent through music and cultural expression.
A Multi-Sensorial Summer Celebration
Designed to engage the senses, Paragon’s Hello Summer offers visitors a curated lineup of immersive moments from vibrant seaside visuals to genre-defying live performances by local musicians and evocative, seasonal scents.
“At Paragon, we aim to redefine the shopping experience and foster meaningful connections with our visitors.” says Jaylyn Ong, Managing Director, Straits Retail Property Management Services Pte Ltd. “Hello Summer embodies this vision – a curated celebration of the senses featuring first-of-its-kind music experiences, with dynamic live performances spanning diverse genres by homegrown talent, in honour of SG60. Through this vibrant showcase, we aim to create meaningful connections with visitors by inspiring joy and evoking emotion. We’re grateful to our partners, whose passion and collaboration helped bring this concept to life.”
One of the highlights this season is the sea-side inspired pop-up by Jo Malone London, “Spread Joy with Jo Malone London #justbecause”, running from now to 13 July. Visitors can experience Jo Malone London’s newest and limited-edition launch (Raspberry Ripple, complemented with Orange Marmalade), enjoy themed treats, and capture Instagram-worthy moments. Complete with personalisation stations, the installation is a one-of-a-kind seaside escape in the heart of the city. Visitors can also discover their signature scent at Jo Malone’s Scent For You Workshop, happening exclusively on 4 and 5 July, as well as a Caricature Activation on 11 and 12 July.
Notes of Summer
Hello Summer also brings sound to the forefront with a dynamic musical programme that turns the mall into a stage for both innovation and local pride. In partnership with Bandwagon, Southeast Asia’s leading independent music media company, the programme showcases an exciting lineup of emerging and established homegrown artists, delivering unique live performances that celebrate Singapore’s vibrant music scene.
The campaign launched on 1 July with a surprise appearance by renowned singer Nathan Hartono, who delighted audiences at Paragon’s level one atrium. Joining the launch was the Interactive Human Jukebox, a first-of-its-kind performance that allows the audience to influence the performance in real time by selecting the tempo and genre. The engaging quartet, comprises Anson Koh, multi-genre session drummer and winner of Singapore Drumoff 2016; Eugene Chew, versatile double bassist unbound by labels; Joanna Lim, a celebrated pianist and saxophonist; and Joel Chua, a gifted musician and composer – each bringing their own unique sound to the stage.
The launch was also graced by a stellar lineup of local talents, including emerging performers from AGOPSG (A Group of People) — a collective platform showcasing Singapore’s next generation of musical talent, Mikkel Myer Lee, a piano maestro who made headlines at just nine years old for his sold-out performance of Chopin’s 24 Preludes at the Esplanade and Heeru from the Inclusive Arts Movement, a classically trained vocalist and pianist whose musical journey spans international choir representation and a deep passion for performance that celebrates expression and inclusivity.
“Hello Summer places music at the heart of the season – a celebration of spontaneity, sunshine, and the joy of live performance. In collaboration with Paragon and our artist community, we’re excited to share a vibrant lineup that reflects the richness of local talent. From our signature Human Jukebox, to a heartfelt set by a differently-abled performer, a prodigious young pianist, a genre-blurring showcase by MYRNE with live strings, and more – each act is designed to surprise and uplift. Backed by a network of over 3,000 local artists, we’re proud to help transform Paragon into a living stage where music captures the spirit of summer,” commented Clarence Chan, Founder of Bandwagon.
From 2 to 12 July, music lovers can look forward to a vibrant daily performance series, featuring an eclectic mix of genres — from jazz and classical to contemporary pop. The line up showcases an array of local artists, including Elizabeth Saw, a Singaporean pop pianist and Mando-pop songwriter; National University of Singapore’s Acapella group; Nanyang Technological University Jazz & Blues and a vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist trio, led by bilingual singer-songwriter Charlene Su, whose original single “I Like Red” has amassed over 11 million streams on Spotify.
Jazz lovers can look forward to Yvette Atienza, a pioneer in Singapore’s jazz vocal improvisation scene since the 1990s, known for her long-standing residencies across top hotel lounges in the city. Paragon also presents DJ x Strings: UNEXPECTED pairing. UNFORGETTABLE performance — a genre-blending musical showcase that fuses electronic beats with classical strings. Featuring DJ MYRNE and violinist David Loke, this performance offers a bold reinterpretation of live sound at the mall’s Main Atrium.
Celebrating Singapore’s 60th Birthday
The celebration continues from 19 July to 9 August with a patriotic twist, as SG60-themed music performances pay tribute to Singapore’s independence journey through the power of sound.
As visitors step into Paragon during this period, they’ll be greeted by a vibrant soundscape of tunes by homegrown artists and familiar National Day melodies. This specially curated playlist enhances the atmosphere throughout the mall — celebrating local talent and evoking a sense of national pride in the lead-up to SG60.
