HOMAGE TO SINGAPORE’S ICONIC HAWKER CULTURE

An inventive rendition of the all-time favourite hawker food, Chicky Satay 沙爹故事 ($2.20 per piece, 2 for $4.00) resembles an actual satay skewer! Within the trio of bite-sized croissants are tender morsels of chicken satay slicked with a nutty satay sauce, melted gouda and mozzarella cheese. Equally flavourful with hints of spices and chili is Sambal Swirl 香辣卷 ($2.20 per piece, 2 for $4.00), a fiery and mouthwatering flaky pastry filled with local-favourite, shrimp sambal paste as well as diced cheddar cheese. The popular dessert Pulut Hitam 糯米军官 ($1.80 per piece) is reinterpreted as a charcoal bun with a chewy mochi and black glutinous rice centre. Boasting the toasty aromas of pandan leaves and coconut, Kaya Kebaya 新加坡宝藏 ($2.20 per piece, 2 for $4.00) presents the winsome combination of flaky croissant pastry and Hainanese Kaya custard, topped with dessicated coconut.

SWEET TREATS WITH A LOCAL TWIST

Infused with the sweet fragrance of pandan leaves, the Pandan Light Cheesecake 香兰乳酪 ($11.20 per cake) is a limited-edition flavour of the ethereal, all time favourite Japan Light Cheesecake – this light and airy cake makes a great almost ‘guilt-free’ snack anytime of the day! Pandan Gula Melaka Crunch 脆椰糖 ($25.80 per cake) is reminiscent of the traditional ondeh ondeh kueh with smooth gula melaka mousse, coconut toasted flakes and between layers of pillow-soft pandan chiffon – the crowning glory of crushed gula melaka adds a satisfying crunch. With every purchase of the Pandan Gula Melaka Crunch, an additional container of crushed Gula Melaka will be provided for customers to adjust the sweetness and texture of the cake according to their personal preference.

A spin-off of the classic Italian dessert, Kopimisu Kopi 米苏 ($9.80 per box) is truly a caffeinated indulgence. Chocolate chiffon infused with full-bodied Nanyang kopi o is layered with creamy mascarpone mousse, completed with a finishing touch of chocolate powder.

This blushing-in-pink beverage needs little introduction. Refreshing and pleasantly sweet with a hint of rose syrup, Bandung Rose 玫瑰美人 ($2 per bottle) is a refreshment that harks back to nostalgic childhood times.
