Faster Football returns to Singapore this July with its signature high-tempo format of elite 7-a-side, non-stop football, taking place from 24 to 26 July 2026 at Our Tampines Hub, where fans can expect high-energy action throughout the three-day event. The tournament will feature a host of high-profile clubs from the English Premier League, Germany’s Bundesliga, Brazil’s Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A, the J-League, the Chinese Super League, and Liga Super Malaysia.
Following a successful debut in 2025, the event will once again spotlight Singapore as a key sporting hub in Asia, with elite clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, Leicester City, Coventry City, Queens Park Rangers, and Hashtag United facing off against regional heavyweights Shanghai Shenhua, PERSIB and Yokohama F. Marinos. Meanwhile, Brazilian clubs Corinthians and Vasco da Gama will bring some samba flair!
Wes Morgan, former Leicester City captain and 2016 Premier League winner, who returns with the Leicester City Masters team following their 2025 Singapore victory, shared, “Singapore, last year, was a great location and experience. The players were buzzing to travel, meet up again, and do what we love: hyper playing good, competitive football. The 7-a-side format is really enjoyable. It’s important to be brave at the back, comfortable one-on-one, and ready to adapt. We have defenders getting up front, strikers dropping into midfield, and everyone was flexible, looking to create chances and wanting to win.”
Faster Football Singapore 2026 will feature more than 350 players, representing 36 clubs from around the world. Competing on a full-size pitch, the festival will see 95 fast-paced matches, each played in 7-minute halves.
“With an exciting line-up of Faster Football Men’s, Women’s, and Masters competitions, it means there’s something for the whole family. Fans love the format. Four games are played every hour, and we are guaranteed incredible match-ups with European and South American powerhouses competing against the region’s biggest names. Where else can you see Singapore legends like Sharil Ishak, Khairul Amri, Lionel Lewis and Daniel Bennett face off against Borussia Dortmund’s Legends, and then 15 minutes later you could be watching Aleks Duric and Isa Halim lining up opposite a Premier League All Star team?” said Dom Lane, CEO of Faster Football.
Beyond the matches, Faster Football will transform Our Tampines Hub into a vibrant festival of family fun. Fans can look forward to player meet-and-greets and a lively mix of food, drinks, and entertainment celebrating local culture.
Singapore football icon Abbas Saad, who famously scored a hat-trick to help Singapore win the Malaysia Cup, commented, “It’s one of the highlights of my year; we all love this tournament. Faster Football was first launched in Singapore in July 2025 at Jalan Besar Stadium under the Soccer7sSeries banner. High-flying Coventry City won the Men’s Tournament, Shanghai Shenhua were crowned Women’s champions, and Leicester City won the Master’s competition.
The event was broadcast globally, with over 30 hours of live coverage across more than 200 territories via DAZN, co-streamers, and competing clubs’ digital channels, attracting over 2.5 million viewers on YouTube. It also generated more than 90 million social media views and 200,000 new subscribers and followers to Faster Football’s channels.
