Now you don’t have to miss all these Hong Kong food as AquaMarine, Marina Mandarin Singapore has launched its new buffet spread that features Halal-certified Old School Hong Kong Delights buffet in the month of April!

This must be one of the most unique buffets in Singapore featuring Hong Kong cuisine of yesteryear and here’s some of the highlights as follows:

Traditional Quail Egg Siew Mai 

Featuring nostalgic fare like Traditional Quail Egg Siew Mai, Braised Beef Rib with ‘Mui Choy’ and Claypot Lamb Brisket with Bamboo Shoot can be found at the buffet. The traditional Quail Egg Siew Mai has a boiled quail egg that is placed inside the dumpling filled with juicy pork meat. This is a traditional dim sum that has made a comeback in this buffet

This classic Hong Kong snack food, Steamed Rice Rolls also known as Cheong Fun has been steamed to perfection, lightly pan-fried for the added texture. This buffet served the upscale version where you can pair this popular classic rice rolls with mini abalones.

Baby Lobster in ‘Bi Feng Tang’ Style   

If you have been to Hong Kong, you may have seen and heard the word ‘Bi Feng Tang’ in many of the restaurants and eating places. The name ‘Bi Feng Tang’ is a type of boat shelter found in Hong Kong that is used to protect boats from typhoon. It was believed that Hong Kong fishermen invented the ‘Bi Feng Tang’ style dish while taking shelter almost 30 years ago.

This is a must-try dish at the buffet, AquaMarine uses Baby Lobster in ‘Bi Feng Tang’ style that is fried using lots of garlic, ginger, chilli and spring onion, giving it a wonderful aroma, full of intense flavour and so tasty! It is available exclusively during dinner on weekends!

Check out the buffet where it serves many classic Hong Kong fare like Rickshaw Noodles. You can select the types of noodles, ingredients like curry fish balls, cuttlefish tentacles, stew chicken wings and more to make your bowl of delicious noodles. 

Desserts station features Hong Kong’s favourites like Tofu pudding, Mammy Pancake, Hong Kong Egg Tart, Lou Po Beng also known as Wife’s Cake, Polo Bun, Red Bean Steamed Rice Cake and many more! What a feast to satisfy our cravings for Hong Kong’s delights!

The buffet spread is priced at $60++ per adult and $30++ per child* for lunch daily, at $73++ per adult and $36.50++ per child* for dinner on weekdays**, and at $83++ per adult and $41.50++ per child* for dinner on weekends**. This promotion is available from 5 to 30 April 2019.
