Gochi-So Shokudo, the casual Japanese family restaurant known for specialising in affordable Iberico Pork dishes, is delighted to announce the launch of its NEW Truffle Fair from now to 14 December 2022.
Diners can look forward to enjoy tantalising truffle-themed creations including Truffle Cheese Mille Feuille Katsu and Truffle Chestnut Pork Jowl Don. The dishes are currently available at all 14 outlets islandwide.
Iberico Pork is one of the highest-quality pork available worldwide and is considered the “Wagyu Beef” of pork. Gochi-So Shokudo imports its pork from Spain and delivers it directly to the outlets.
Here’s the highlights of some of the dishes that we have tried as follows:
Truffle Cheese Mille Feuille Katsu $18.90++
The pork collar has been deep-fried to perfection, the meat is so juicy with a crispy outer layer and seeping with creamy goodness of mushrooms consisting of king oyster and button, cheddar cheese and pork with hints of truffle. This dish is accompanied with a side salad.

Truffle Chestnut Pork Jowl Don $12.90++
The chestnut pork jowl is lightly grilled over Japanese binchotan charcoal, accented with truffle and accompanied with delightful mushrooms, onsen egg and rice. This is a comforting and satisfying dish!
Iberico Secreto (Black Char Siew) – $9.80++ for 6 pieces (available on the regular a la carte menu)
The char siew grilled over Japanese binchotan charcoal resulting in a delightful mix of sweet and smoky flavours. The meat is grilled to perfection, so succulent and tender.

Smoked Iberico BBQ Spare Ribs – $23.90++
This is a popular favourite for the festive season, the succulent and juicy ribs are marinated with Japanese soya sauce, sugar, mirin and sakae, sous vide and smoked with beechwood. The ribs are drizzled with homemade sauce prepared with tomato ketchup,mixed herbs, fresh tomato and BBQ sauce.
Smoked Iberico Finger Ribs Don – $12.90++ (served with miso soup)
An ideal festive dish for those who enjoy having their ribs with rice. The Smoked Iberico Finger Ribs are tender and flavourful with a smoky, earthy flavour.
