SJArt+ and world acclaimed artist Lindsey Nobel will unveil Nobel’s captivating “Liquid Line” series at the upcoming Into the Invisible interdisciplinary art exhibition. Held at the Visual Arts Centre from 4th March to 10th March, 2024, the exhibition takes visitors on a transformative journey through Nobel’s mesmerising artworks alongside the premiere of an original musical composition by talented composer Daniel Grace performed live by Singapore’s very own sought after virtuoso violinist Jocelyn Ng.
Audiences will have their senses tantalised and perceptions challenged as SJArt+, the brainchild of acclaimed media producer Julliet Pan, opens Into the Invisible, its first ground-breaking exhibition. This pioneering initiative shatters the mould of conventional art display, seamlessly weaving bespoke musical compositions with Nobel’s captivating visual pieces to transport audiences on a multi-sensory odyssey that transcends the boundaries of sight and sound.
Into The Invisible is anchored by Nobel’s critically acclaimed series of works which epitomises her contemporary artistic style, characterised by a dynamic interplay of diverse mediums, including oils, acrylic, her signature syringe pieces, and her key “Liquid Line” technique. Through her masterful use of these materials, Nobel breathes life into the invisible and defines the human experience, from biological processes to the inventions of consciousness.
This multidimensional showcase redefines traditional art exhibitions by going beyond the visual realm with auditory sensations. Inspired by Lindsey Nobel’s ethereal artistic style, the composition will intertwine classical violin melodies with contemporary electronic textures, sending listeners to a dimension that mirrors the transformative nature of the art.
