ACT 3 International presents Sweet, a 2 hour Sensory & Experiential Workshop at ION Art Gallery, ION Orchard till 5 June 2016 for children from ages 4 to 8 years old.
This 2 hours, all in one sense ability confectionery celebration consists of visual arts exhibition, workshops and storytelling that will stimulate all of your children’s five senses through sight, taste, touch, smell and sound, enthralling them from the get-go!
Children are delighted to see the whole venue decorated with all kinds of sweets!

Children and even parents find it fascinating to see ION Art Gallery being magically transformed into a multi-sensorial land of desserts!
I am so excited, I can’t wait to start the workshop!
The workshop is inspired by Roald Dahl’s most cherished storybook, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, this all-in-one delicious extravaganza will leave your children salivating for more with not one but four exciting activities.
First, the workshop started off with a storytelling session where parents are also welcome to stay with their children for the first 20 minutes.
Be entertained by SWEET Supervisor Kimberly as she brings you on an adventure through a highly entertaining storytelling performance. The kids were visually entertained during the storytelling session, most of them were laughing and actively participating.
After the storytelling session, parents take their leave as this is a drop-off workshop. The next three parts of the activities consists of a Drama Workshop with Teacher Kim where the child will learn to move and physicalise actions through creative expression. Next, watch in awe as Teacher April, Juriah demonstrate how easy it is to create colourful lollipops. Finally, together with the help of Chef Sharon, learn how to make your own edible ice cream!
At the end of the workshop, all the kids get to bring back their own colourful lollipops that they make and the sweet experiences they get from the workshop. They also get to enjoy delicious ice cream.

Our Parenting World team recently watched Awake LOVE Orchestra, it is fascinating to watch the performers playing and creating beautiful music with harmony.
