Singapore government has eased the COVID restrictions for dining and outdoor gatherings as the COVID-19 infections has decreased. In line with this, YOUNGS Bar and Restaurant, a modern European gastropub, will be relaunching its breakfast grill and will offer brunch meals for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 8.30am in the morning.
The 241-seater bar and restaurant situated at The Oval in Seletar Aerospace Park takes pride on serving diners with an exquisitely crafted modern European menu in a charming British colonial-style architecture, exuding a harmonious blend of modernity and heritage. Diners can enjoy delectable food and luscious drinks amidst a view of green lawns and rolling hills, a great place to relax and chill out with family and friends!
Enjoy a variety of fresh and flavoursome starters, mains and desserts created by their chef who keeps the food authentic with the occasional twist of surprise of ingredients and techniques used. For a memorable dining experience, no matter the occasion, guests can enjoy the outdoor view and breeze from the alfresco tables on the terrace or choose to dine in air-conditioned comfort inside the colonial building.
The relaunch of Young’s Bar and Restaurant’s brunch menu is a long-awaited treat families and groups who can now look forward to enjoy having the restaurant’s mouth-watering menu line-up, signature brunch dishes such as the Cheesy Truffle Toast, Blueberry Pancake, Black Truffle and Mushroom Omelette, Avocado Toast and Egg Royale, and the all-time favourite, the YOUNGS Big Breakfast.
We tried out the YOUNGS Big Breakfast, it was a sumptuous meal consisting of Chicken Cheese Sausage, Pork Sausage, Smoked Salmon, Bacon, Sautéed Mushrooms, Baked Beans, Vine Cherry Tomatoes, Avocado Puree, Toasted Sourdough, Butter Square, Mesclun Salad. You can choose how you want your eggs to be done in Omelette, Poached, Scrambled or Sunny-Side Up style. Overall, we enjoyed the meal as we get to try out a variety of different food items for the Big Breakfast, the food was delicious and well-prepared, what’s more the staff was warm and friendly, service was exceptional during our visit. It is such a joy to dine in a nice and comfortable environment with a greenery view over good food and drinks.
The restaurant has also created a specialty bar, with professional staff and bartender on hand to assist you with your selection. The intimacy of the Suave Room is available for private social drinking upon booking. For diners seeking something vastly different from the usual restaurants in town and to congregate over drinks in a most charming surrounding, YOUNGS Bar & Restaurant is worth a visit!
