Asia’s first-ever Formula 1® Exhibition will open its doors in Singapore on 23 July, organisers have revealed a couple more iconic Formula 1 cars that will be on display as part of the award-winning exhibition.
In addition to the 2011 Constructor’s and Driver’s winning Red Bull RB7, and the 2003 BAR Honda 005 announced previously, visitors will be able to view some of the most legendary and memorable cars in the history of Formula 1.
Williams FW15C
Regarded as one of the most advanced Formula 1 cars ever built, the FW15C dominated the 1993 season, securing both Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships with Alain Prost and Damon Hill behind the wheel. Designed by Adrian Newey and Patrick Head, it combined exceptional aerodynamics with pioneering electronic systems, including active suspension and traction control. The FW15C represented the peak of Formula 1’s electronic age and remains one of the sport’s most iconic examples of engineering excellence.
Lotus E21
The Lotus E21, introduced for the 2013 Formula 1 season, represents a pivotal moment in the team’s modern era. The car combined aerodynamic efficiency, V8 power and race-winning pace, enabling strong performance across diverse circuits, including Kimi Räikkönen’s victory at the Australian Grand Prix and a podium finish at the Singapore Grand Prix. It remains a standout example of Lotus engineering excellence today.
Red Bull RB7
The Red Bull RB7 is the car that defined a dynasty. Designed by Adrian Newey and powered by the Renault RS27 V8, it combined aerodynamic brilliance with perfect balance and control. In 2011, Sebastian Vettel dominated the season, winning eleven Grands Prix, including the Singapore Grand Prix, and secured his second consecutive Drivers’ Championship. Together with teammate Mark Webber, Red Bull Racing also claimed its second Constructors’ title, cementing its reputation as the new benchmark in Formula 1 performance.
BAR Honda 005
The BAR Honda 005 marks a crucial chapter in Honda’s modern Formula 1 journey. Designed by Geoff Willis, and with Jenson Button and Jacques Villeneuve at the wheel, the 005 showcased impressive aerodynamic refinement and mechanical evolution. Jenson Button scored the team’s highest finish with a fourth place in Austria and the team finished fifth in the Constructor’s Championship. Powered by Honda’s high-revving RA003E V10 engine, the 005 laid the technical foundations for the BAR Honda 006 and ultimately Honda’s own works team success in the years that followed. It stands as a testament to persistence, development, and the continuous pursuit of speed — qualities at the heart of Formula 1’s relentless innovation.
