1. Standout brands to discover
Boutiques continues to shine a spotlight on the best of design from Singapore and around the globe with a bevy of unique finds, some of which appear in Singapore for the first time.
● Created in collaboration with DesignSingapore Council (Dsg), the new Singapore Design Gift Store in Room 2A offers a thoughtful way to encounter and engage with local design. Curated by Priscilla Tan, Principal Designer at Supermama and Clara Yee, designer and co-founder of Magicfruit, the store brings together design collectives including Just A Band Of Creatives, Observation House and PRINTCENTRE.
● Boutiques Showcase Grant recipient WASTD makes its direct-to-consumer debut with a Boutiques-exclusive Mini Wall Sconce and limited-edition candle.
● Fellow recipients Kii Workshop and Issho Labo bring new home audio speakers and nestling stools, and a modular Mix and Match Lamp Bar and food-inspired lamps respectively.
● Making its Boutiques debut across serveware, ritualware and furniture is Populate, with Southeast Asian-inspired pieces like the Teratai lotus coaster and tray series.
● Eden Eden: Formerly known as Eden Living, the beloved design studio will bring with it a curated selection of handcrafted wooden lamps and home objects, created in collaboration with makers and design studios in Korea.
● Wodd Bangkok: The Thai accessories brand will showcase two collections at Boutiques Singapore: FOUNDATION, its signature collection of bold, sculptural jewellery, and FORM, a newer collection taking a more refined and minimal approach.
2. New Experiences: Massages, Aura Portraits and Creative Experiences
Beyond shopping, Boutiques Singapore continues to reinforce its reputation as a holistic lifestyle destination, with new experiences designed for visitors to pause, play and recharge.
● Hideaway brings 15-minute neck and shoulder or hand and arm massages to the F1 Pit Building, and makes its retail debut with personal care essentials in a signature scent co-created with POSTCARD.
● GOFY puts a playful spin on gifting with its “Naughty or Nice” wrapping concept. With a minimum $10 donation to one of five charity partners, visitors can pick from eight artist-designed wrapping papers and matching cards, such as “Frenemy vs. Bestie” and “Spicy vs. Sweet”.
● Aura Obscura uses a camera with biofeedback sensors to turn changes in the body’s electrical activity into colourful aura portraits on Instax Wide film.
● Hands On Film will set up an Instax photobooth and showcase upcycled, reloadable film cameras, alongside a Boutiques-exclusive artist collaboration.
● Families can look forward to an expanded kids’ drop-off area by The Artground and That’s Neat, with new workshops in candle making and recyclable weaving.
