Great Eastern is launching The Great Gold Hunt on 7 February 2026, a free, islandwide experience that invites the public to step outdoors, solve clues and hunt for hidden mock gold bars across Singapore.
The Great Gold Hunt blends puzzles, exploration and a touch of mystery, turning familiar locations into part of a real-life treasure hunt. Members of the public can take part by registering online, answering weekly quizzes to unlock clues that lead to the location of each hidden mock gold bar.
With eight mock gold bars hidden across Singapore between 7 February 2026 and 14 March 2026, the hunt is designed to spark curiosity, movement and a sense of discovery. Participants can work together with friends and family to uncover each of the eight locations, and the first verified participant at each location will win one genuine 10g gold bar.
Participation is free and open to Singapore residents aged 18 and above[1]. One additional genuine 10g gold bar will also be up for grabs via a lucky draw for the first 20,000 registrants.
