Hot on the heels of its Singapore debut in August, Sunshine Bakeries is already giving consumers something new to discover. Just weeks after launching its four-flavour range, Sunshine Dorayaki is giving its new Japanese Pancake range a distinctly local twist with its first limited-edition drop: Mao Shan Wang Durian, made with real Mao Shan Wang Durian.

Available islandwide from 16 September 2026, the Sunshine Dorayaki Mao Shan Wang Durian pairs a soft, fluffy Hokkaido milk pancake with a rich and creamy filling made with real Mao Shan Wang Durian.

Durian lovers may recognise it before they even take a bite. The distinctive aroma of Mao Shan Wang comes through first, followed by its rich, creamy and characteristically bittersweet notes. With the intensity of the durian balanced by the lightness of the pancake, each bite delivers the satisfying contrast of real Mao Shan Wang in a soft, fluffy Dorayaki, for real durian satisfaction.

The launch marks the next milestone for Sunshine Dorayaki following its Singapore debut in August. After introducing Uji Matcha, Azuki Red Bean, Cheese and Taro, Sunshine is keeping the discovery going with its first limited-edition Mao Shan Wang Durian. With its intense durian aroma and signature richness, Mao Shan Wang brings a distinctly local character to the range, offering a new way to enjoy one of Singapore’s most beloved flavours in a convenient, ready-to-enjoy snack.

“Mao Shan Wang Durian was a natural choice for our first Sunshine Dorayaki limited edition, as it is a flavour Singaporeans instantly recognise and love. Its distinctive richness creates a satisfying contrast with our soft and fluffy Hokkaido milk pancake. Following our August launch, we wanted to give consumers another reason to keep discovering what Sunshine Dorayaki can be,” said Michelle Ang, Chief Marketing Officer at Sunshine Bakeries.
