{Media Invite and Exciting Breakfast Menu at Swensen’s}
Our Parenting World team was invited to Swensen’s to try out its new breakfast menu. Swensen’s is one of the most popular family restaurants in Singapore and this restaurant chain has just launched a new breakfast menu.
Swensen’s has come up with two NEW crowd-pleasers, Salted Egg Lava Rolls and Chicken N Waffle, among other breakfast offerings.
The Salted Egg Lava Rolls ($10.80) is unique because it has a heavenly combination of charcoal black bread rolls with salted egg butter cream which oozes out when you bite the bread. This breakfast set also served with buttered potatoes and cheesy sausages. When you eat it, you can taste the soft and creamy salted egg butter cream which combines nicely with the texture of the bread.
Our next new breakfast item is the Chicken N Waffle ($13.90). Waffle is always a favourite for our team. This breakfast item comes drizzled with an all-new decadent butter lime dressing, the chicken is crispy on the outside and the meat is tender and juicy. It comes with their popular buttered potatoes, creamy mushrooms and cheesy sausages. The strips of fried chicken when served with the waffle will definitely make you feel satisfied!
The All American Pancakes ($10.80) is one of Swensen’s all-time favourite, comes with fluffy vanilla pancakes, homemade honey butter cream, cheesy sausages, buttered potatoes and creamy mushrooms. We simply love the soft fluffy pancakes!
All the breakfast items above come with beverages where you can choose either coffee or tea.
For Kids’ Breakfast Set, we tried the Mini Good Morning Sunnies ($8.90) which comes with two sunny-side up eggs, cheesy sausages and creamy mushrooms and a glass of orange juice. The two sunny-side up eggs were beautifully done and coupled with the flavourful sausages and mushroom make this dish an appetizing one for the little boy that he finished up the whole plate!
