25 years after the groundbreaking original stomped across our screens to critical and audience acclaim, this brand-new BBC Earth series showcases the world of dinosaurs like never before. Blending the latest cutting-edge science with state-of-the-art visual effects, Walking With Dinosaurs takes viewers on an epic journey to discover the incredible lives of 6 dinosaurs unearthed from real-world excavations.
Pack your picnic mats and bring the whole family! Audiences of all ages are invited to roar, stomp, and explore the wonders of Earth’s distant past in an immersive outdoor cinema experience under the stars.
Festival grounds open from 5pm and will kick off with a thrilling lineup of dinosaur themed fringe activities that promise fun for all ages. Strike a pose with the dinosaur characters at the Instagram-worthy photo spots and snap your best themed photo to redeem an exclusive, limited-edition BBC Earth tote bag embroidered with a dino design you won’t find anywhere else!
Budding palaeontologists can dig for bones and eggs at the children’s fossil excavation pit, unleash their creativity at the dino egg painting station, and learn how to fold their favourite dinosaur at the dinosaur origami corner.
To make the experience even more immersive, all festival-goers are invited to come dressed in theme as your favourite dinosaur in a costume or onesie, or channel your inner explorer with an archaeologist-inspired outfit.
It’s not a picnic without snacks so enjoy some popcorn and ‘Choco Dinosaur’ (their take on the local classic Milo Dinosaur), while stocks last.
