Come join us at the annual Beyond the Label (BTL) Fest to show your support for persons with mental health conditions and learn ways to take care of your own mental well-being and look out for each other!
Organised by the BTL Collective, led by the National Council of Social Service and TOUCH Community Services, this signature event will take place on 8 September with activities and workshops from 9:30am to 9:30pm at the Jewel Changi Airport.
Centred around the theme, “Mental Wellness Begins with All of Us”, this year’s event aims to highlight that mental wellness is a shared responsibility. It starts with each of us taking small steps to take care of ourselves and those we care about in our homes, schools, community and workplaces.
Learn tips and strategies to better manage your mental wellbeing through the workshops and interactive event booths throughout the day. These include soothing aromatherapy and wellness sessions, a creative Zentangle art workshop, a Human Library session, and sand play therapy. You can also find out more about resources such as Belle, BTL helpbot, and how it can help you.
In the evening, enjoy performances by local artiste Annette Lee and students from various educational institutions, and hear their mental health stories. Local celebrities, Rebecca Lim and Tasha Low, and content creator, Zaki Hussain, will also engage in a cosy fireside chat and share insights on the importance of help-seeking and supporting each other to promote mental well-being. The event will be graced by the Guest-ofHonour, President Halimah Yacob and attended by Senior Parliamentary Secretary (Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Ministry of Social and Family Development) Eric Chua.
Several retailers at Jewel, Changi Airport have also pledged their support for the BTL movement with exciting promotions. Show your commitment towards positive mental well-being and seize the opportunity to redeem exclusive merchandise like the charming BTL tote bag and delightful BTL x Tily Tea Set (while stocks last!).
Mark your calendar for 8 September – a day to stand together, take meaningful steps towards enhanced mental well-being, and show our unwavering support for persons with mental health conditions.
