We arrived at Shin Yeh, the authentic Taiwanese cuisine restaurant for our first stop to find out more about their set meal created specially for the Food Trail.
Taiwan-style combination Dim Sum platter which consists of steamed scallops dumpling with shrimps, steamed soupy pork dumpling also known as xiao long bao and steamed shrimp and pork dumpling.
Braised squid, bamboo shoot and mushroom in thick broth
Pawns in 2 different versions which is sauteed prawn with pineapple and crispy-fried prawn with oats.
Charcoal-grilled spare ribs
Soup noodle with fresh mushroom and seasonal vegetable
Desserts which consist of Taiwan-style prune juice and glutinous rice balls coated with ground peanuts.
The set meal served at Shin Yeh is simply delicious, sumptuous and value for money too. We enjoy our meal so much and the service is very good with friendly and attentive staff.

Next, we move on to Ryoshi Sushi Ikeikemaru, a fabulous sushi restaurant located at the basement of Liang Court.
The set meal for Liang Court Food Trail is Bara Chirashi Don Set includes a salad, boiled edamame (green soybeans), miso soup and dessert.
Bara Chirashi Don Set is excellent with generous chunks of sashimi that are very fresh, sweet and tasty. The fish roe (fish eggs) is huge and juicy! Ryoshi Sushi Ikeikemaru is well-known for serving fresh sushi and sashimi at affordable prices and service is great with approachable Japanese staffs.

Our 3rd stop, we came to another Japanese restaurant known as Yayoiken Japanese Restaurant located at the entrance of Meidi-Ya Supermarket to try out their set meal.
Yayoiken Japanese Restaurant is popular for its set meals which deliver the perfect dishes and delicious steamed rice all on one tray. This is the staple and foundation of Japanese cuisine.
The set meal is Chicken Naluban Teishoku Set which consists of rice, salad, miso soup, tofu and accompanied by Tamagoyaki which is a type of Japanese omelette.
The outer layer of the chicken is crispy and the meat inside remains moist and tender that comes with a special savoury sauce. The tasty Japanese omelette which is rolled together with several layers of cooked egg is a piece of art cooked to perfection. It is a sumptuous and satisfying meal for everyone.

Food Trail Wallet consists of 1 Quick Bite and we visited Mazazu Crepe located at the basement of Liang Court to try out its crepe.
At Mazazu Crepe, it specialises in serving crepes that are delicious and yet nutritious as its flour has bran which is high in dietary fiber and also well balanced in minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium and zine.
The crepe is soft and tastes really yummy. It is wrapped up like an ice cream cone easy for you to carry around to have an enjoyable quick bite.
You can to choose from Butter Sugar Crepe, Choco Fresh Cream, Strawberry and Fresh Cream Custard for your Quick Bite.
