Kai Duck – New Dining Concept by Kai Garden Opens at Ngee Ann City

Kai Duck is a new dining concept by Kai Garden featuring modern Cantonese casual cuisine that is recently opened at Ngee Ann City, Level 5. The restaurant is owned and helmed by Group Executive Chef Fung Chi Keung, he was formerly the Group Executive Chef for Paradise Group. Diners can look forward to indulge in creative food offerings, innovative dishes and quick bites inspired from Chef Fung’s signature, traditional Hong Kong-style roast duck. 

Here’s some of the signature dishes at Kai Duck as follows:

Peking Duck Salad Hand Roll – $5.80 per roll

This is Peking Duck in a hand roll, succulent Peking Duck filled with fresh cucumber and lettuce, seasoned with Japanese sesame sauce and seaweed flakes are being wrapped in a crispy spring roll wrapper. 

Sliced Peking Duck with Crackers – $4.80 per piece

This innovative dish features crispy duck skin that is baked and drizzled with oil and served on a airy and crunchy fried cracker. Both the crackers and the sauce are handmade from corn by Chef Fung.

Mini Burger with Peking Duck Salad – $4.80 per piece

It is a delight to bite into this juicy mini burger with tender duck meat. The bun is made in-house and filled with Peking Duck, lettuce and seaweed.

Pan-fried Carrot Cake – $13.80

This carrot cake is shaped into a pizza, made with radish and contains less flour. Pan-fried to perfection that is crispy on the outside and the inside remains soft and moist, drizzles with chilli sauce for the extra kick! 

Signature Fried Rice with Black Truffle Mushroom and Beetroot – $16.80 per serving

This is an unique, healthy vegan dish that has no eggs. The delicious rice dish contains vegetarian beetroot rice, mushrooms, corn,  rice crackers, and pumpkin that are fried with fragrant black truffle oil. 

You will be spoilt for choice especially if you like to eat duck when you dine at Kai Duck. Looking at the menu, it offers a wide variety of delectable Cantonese dishes with a modern twist and Peking Duck at reasonable price. The duck dishes feature familiar fragrant crunch of Peking Duck skin with a twist that we thoroughly enjoyed!
