Sentosa GrillFest, Singapore’s only food street by the beach is back bigger and better with over 130 F&B options to choose from. This year festival will be the longest edition spanning over four weekends till 12 August.
Diners can enjoy an extensive range of food and drinks as this year festival has the largest number of participating establishments, with 27 food and beverage (F&B) establishments including six stalls that will be set up on the beach for the first time providing diners in total over 130 F&B options to choose from across a one-kilometre stretch of Siloso Beach.
Here’s some of the highlights of the food items that you can enjoy at Sentosa GrillFest 2019 as follows:
One Faber Group has a roasting station that is suitable for all occasions, only available at Sentosa Grillfest.
Try unique dishes at One Faber Group where Executive Chef Kenny Yeo and his team of seven chefs whipped up their signature dishes and new creation like Bamboo Rice Nasi Lemak Ayam ($18). This is not your usual nasi lemak on pandan leaf, basmati rice is used and first steamed in individual bamboo stems till half-cooked and it is then transferred to the barbecue pit to complete the cooking process. The rice is so fragrant and infused with pandan, coconut and bamboo flavours complete with tender and succulent meat, ikan bilis, peanuts, eggs, cucumber slices and sambal chilli sauce. Another must try is their Lobster Hokkien Noodles which was a crowd favourite last year.
Bellyphant serves Thai-Fusion food that uses traditional Thai food preparation and cooking with a modern twist. Try its juicy and yummy burgers, Panang Red Curry Beef Burger ($14) and Green Curry Chicken Burger ($14), all burgers come with a side, choose from homemade savoury banana chips or curly fries.
Enjoy the best of two luxurious food items, Truffle and Caviar in this delightfully flavourful Truffle and Caviar Pasta at $7/$10 at Ola Beach Club.
Another must-try at the festival is exotic option like charcoal grilled durian by The Durian Edition. The outer layer of the durian is caramelised, it gives the durian a more smoky flavour and the meat is actually more creamy.
Chill out at the beach with a bowl of refreshing cool durian cendol, the iced sweet dessert with generous chunks of durian by The Durian Edition.
Sentosa GrillFest 2019 will be running from 4pm to 11pm on the following weekends: 19 to 21 July, 26 to 28 July, 2 to 4 August, and 9 to 12 August through the National Day and Hari Raya Haji public holidays
In addition, bask in the festive atmosphere with the glow of lights dotting the beach and be entertained by roaming performers. Plus, guests can choose to kick back with a movie by the beach at 8pm on each day of Sentosa Grillfest.
Sentosa GrillFest is a cashless event and guests will be able to make payments via credit cards and EZ-Link cards. Booths will be available at the event for guests to top up their EZ-Link cards if they run low in value.
