In a city that seldom slows its pace, Timezone Singapore is inviting everyone to pause. This April, Timezone launches Pause & Play, a campaign encouraging Singaporeans of all ages to take a deliberate break from work, study, screens, and the daily grind, and to replace those moments with the simple, restorative power of play.

The campaign speaks to a truth many Singaporeans will recognise life moves fast, and meaningful time together is often the first casualty. Whether it is a student overwhelmed by deadlines, a working adult caught in the cycle of hustle culture, a family seeking moments of real connection, or a senior looking for community and movement, Pause & Play is an open invitation to press pause, and then press play.
“At Timezone, we have always believed that play has the power to bring people together and lift the everyday,” said Ms Jacquline Ong, Head of Marketing, Timezone Singapore. “Pause & Play is our reminder that joy does not need to be planned or elaborate. It can be as simple as stepping away for an hour, laughing with the people around you, and leaving feeling just a little lighter.”
Everyone Presses Pause Differently. Everyone Can Press Play.
At the heart of the campaign is the idea of intergenerational play, that the need to pause and reconnect cuts across every stage of life. A student putting down her phone. A father challenging his child to a basketball shootout. Colleagues rediscovering their competitive sides over an arcade game. Seniors moving and laughing together. Pause & Play celebrates all of it.
The campaign spans three forms of play across Timezone’s venues islandwide:
• Physical Play — Basketball, ColorGrid, music games and more
• Creative Play — Connect 4, Animal Kaiser and other imaginative experiences
• Social Play — Attraction games, shooting games and group favourites
Introducing the Pause & Play Pack: $10 for 10 Games
To mark the campaign launch and make play more accessible than ever, Timezone Singapore will release an exclusive Pause & Play Pack — $10 for 10 games, valid across all game categories. The next weekend is from 2 – 3 May (Saturday & Sunday) at Westgate, Northpoint City and Our Tampines Hub limited to the first 1,000 packs per venue
With games available from just $1 each, the Pause & Play Pack offers one of the most accessible entry points into a full Timezone experience — designed to lower the barrier and encourage more people to show up, step away, and play together.
Calling All Companies: The Timezone Corporate Challenge
Pause & Play is not just for families and individuals, Timezone Singapore is also extending the challenge to the workplace. As part of the campaign, Timezone is introducing the Timezone Corporate Challenge, a first-of-its-kind inter-company competition designed to encourage working adults to step away from their desks, let loose and go head-to-head against colleagues and rival companies in a friendly, high energy face-off.
Teams will go head-to-head in a five-game showdown featuring crowd favourites such as NBA Hoops, Skee-Ball, Color Grid, Driving Games and Air Hockey. Companies must win at least three out of five games to advance, with each round bringing fresh matchups and bragging rights.
Organisations interested in taking on the reigning champions can express their interest via Timezone Singapore’s social channels, where selected teams will be invited to participate in upcoming rounds.
At the end of each month, the top-performing company will be crowned Monthly Champion and awarded a hosted team-building experience at Timezone worth over SGD1,500*, reinforcing the campaign’s message that meaningful connection and shared moments of play can be just as valuable in the workplace as they are outside of it.
