Looking for a different way to explore One Holland Village? From 18 September to 31 October 2026, visitors can turn a visit to the mall into an art adventure with the Where Art You? Art Trail @ One Holland Village.

The 2026 campaign invites visitors to seek out seven featured artworks around One Holland Village, answer trivia questions along the way and unlock exclusive treats from participating stores.

For families, the art trail also offers a different way to experience a mall together. Instead of simply walking from one destination to another, parents and children can follow the map, look for the artworks, read the clues and work together to answer the trivia questions.

Turn a Mall Visit into an Art Adventure

One Holland Village features a dedicated Art Trail, with artworks by local and international talents incorporated into the mall environment. Far East Organization’s current art collection page lists seven artworks at One Holland Village, including pieces by Very Small Exhibition, Arik Levy, Ripple Root, Tomislav Topić, Florence Ng, Jahan Loh and Dale Chihuly.

The Where Art You? Art Trail invites visitors to take a closer look at these artworks and discover more about them as they explore One Holland Village.

An art trail can be particularly interesting for families because children can approach the experience through observation and curiosity. What colours do they notice? What shapes or objects can they identify? What do they think an artwork is trying to say? There is no need for children to know anything about art beforehand, the experience can simply begin with looking, asking questions and sharing what they see.

How Does the Where Art You? Art Trail Work?

The concept is simple: find the artworks, answer the trivia and unlock the rewards using the shopFarEast app.

1. Find the Seven Featured Artworks

Look out for the seven featured artworks around One Holland Village. An art trail map is available to help visitors plan their route and find the featured artworks.

For families, this can become a little discovery game of its own. Instead of telling children exactly where to go, parents can let them look out for the next artwork on the map and see who spots it first.

The seven artworks at One Holland Village include The seven artworks include Dream Love Joy by Very Small Exhibition, FacetFormation 180 Corten by Arik Levy, Holland Village Dreaming by Ripple Root, Interlude by Tomislav Topić, Nostalgia by Florence Ng, Reconstituted Philosophies by Jahan Loh, and Singapore Sun by Dale Chihuly.

2. Look Out for the Trivia

Trivia signages can be found at four of the seven art displays marked on the map.

When you spot one, open the shopFarEast app, tap “Redeem Promo Code” and key in the answer to the question.

This is where the experience can become more interactive for families. Parents can let children examine the artwork and discuss the possible answer before entering it into the app. It turns looking at art into a simple activity that encourages observation and conversation.

And because there are four trivia points among the seven artwork displays, families can take their time exploring rather than treating the trail as simply a race to the finish.

Artworks That Can Spark Family Conversations

Some of the artworks offer interesting starting points for parents and children to pause, look closely and share what they notice.

Nostalgia by Florence Ng, for example, is a glass-brick installation that pays homage to familiar icons from Singapore’s old playgrounds, including the dragon, pelican and elephant. For parents, the artwork could also be a conversation starter about the playgrounds they remember from their own childhood, while children can share what playgrounds are like for them today.

Holland Village Dreaming by Ripple Root captures the character of the Holland Village neighbourhood, incorporating elements such as the shophouse enclave and the iconic windmill. As you explore the artwork, parents can encourage children to look closely at the details and see which familiar features they recognise.

There is also Dream Love Joy by Very Small Exhibition, a light art installation situated on the ceiling of the One Holland Village bridge. Its dynamic rainbow lighting transforms the passage into a colourful visual experience, making it another artwork that families can stop and enjoy together.

These moments do not need to become formal art lessons. Simply stopping to look, asking children what they notice and sharing different observations can make the Art Trail a more engaging experience for the whole family.

3. A Correct Answer Unlocks a Deal

Once you have entered a correct trivia answer, an exclusive deal is unlocked in your shopFarEast “Wallet”.

The deal can then be redeemed at one of the respective participating stores.

For children, there is an added sense of achievement in seeing their exploration lead to a reward. For parents, it also means the family outing can end with something to eat or drink at one of the participating stores.

A Different Kind of Family Outing

What makes the Where Art You? Art Trail interesting for a family outing is that the experience does not have to be about simply getting from one shop to another.

Parents can turn the map into a mini treasure hunt and let the children help find the seven artworks. At each artwork, take a moment to look closely and talk about what you see. When you reach one of the four trivia displays, work out the answer together before entering it into the app.

For younger children, it can simply be about spotting colours, shapes and familiar objects. Older children may enjoy thinking about the meaning behind an artwork or trying to solve the trivia without immediately asking for the answer.

And for parents, it can be a refreshing way to introduce a little art and curiosity into an everyday mall visit without making it feel like a formal educational activity.
