Calling parents and children, thinking of what to do this weekend?  ACM Adventures: Whistle a Happy Tune, is happening this Sunday, 27 April 2025.

Inspired by ACM’s Tang Shipwreck gallery, this one-day-only event invites families and young visitors to enjoy an afternoon of hands-on activities and engaging performances that bring the museum’s collection and their stories to life. Programme highlights include:

  • Craft your own bird medal, inspired by a centuries-old bird-shaped whistle from the Tang Shipwreck collection.
  • Immerse yourself in an interactive performance by The Kueh Tutus, presenting a heartwarming tale of a little girl and her feathered friends through music and movement.
  • Join a storytelling session with the Zip Zap Zoom Collective and be whisked away on an imaginative journey with a flock of birds.
  • Rent a pair of binoculars and embark on a thrilling excursion around the museum to uncover fascinating details on display.

The best part? All programmes are free and thoughtfully designed to make the museum experience even more fun, engaging, and accessible for families with children.
