Singapore’s Marina Bay was illuminated with a spectacular Disney Cruise Line–inspired sky show as part of celebrations for the Disney Adventure, the cruise line’s first ship to be homeported in Asia.

Organised by Disney Cruise Line in partnership with UOB, Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the event marked the opening of “Adventure Begins: A Magical Bay Celebration with Disney Cruise Line.” The festivities kicked off following the Disney Adventure’s maiden voyage on 10 March 2026.
The evening began with a performance by Lea Salonga, a celebrated performer and Disney Legend, who sang two Disney classics: “Reflection” from Mulan and “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” from Cinderella. This was followed by a spirited performance titled “Let’s Set Sail” featuring Captain Mickey Mouse, Captain Minnie Mouse and other beloved Disney characters.
The highlight of the night was a 10‑minute sky show over the Marina Bay waterfront, with landmarks around the bay bathed in blue light. The show took viewers on a visual journey through the ship’s seven themed areas — Disney Imagination Garden, Toy Story Place, San Fransokyo Street, Town Square, Wayfinder Bay, Disney Discovery Reef and Marvel Landing accompanied by a medley of well‑known Disney songs including “When You Wish Upon a Star,” “Let It Go,” “Under the Sea” and “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.”
In honour of the Disney Adventure’s Singapore homeport and the city’s multicultural heritage, the sky show included local design elements. These featured nautical motifs and Peranakan‑inspired patterns referencing Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim, as well as imagery of the iconic Merlion.
The 10‑minute show will be repeated on 14 and 15 March 2026, starting at 8.30 pm, and can be viewed from multiple vantage points across the Marina Bay precinct.
The sky show is a key feature of the “Adventure Begins” celebrations, which will run until 30 April 2026. Throughout this period, visitors to Marina Bay can explore Disney Cruise Line–themed photo spots, take part in activities and enjoy special promotions from participating merchants. The Disney Adventure draws on more than 100 years of storytelling from Disney, Marvel and Pixar.
