Marina Bay Sands’ signature charity festival returns this August with a vibrant weekend at Event Plaza, alongside the month-long Dine for Good campaign, bringing the community together to support meaningful causes across Singapore.
Marina Bay Sands is marking a significant milestone this August as the Sands for Singapore Charity Festival returns for its 12th edition, bringing together Team Members, charity partners and the wider public in support of meaningful causes across Singapore.
Since its inception in 2013, the Festival has raised more than S$45 million for social causes, supporting beneficiaries including low-income families, youths, seniors and persons with disabilities. A flagship initiative under Sands Cares, Marina Bay Sands’ community engagement programme, the Festival has evolved beyond fundraising into a platform for collective giving, transforming everyday experiences into opportunities for guests to give back in meaningful ways.
A Vibrant Weekend of Food, Music and Community
From 28 to 30 August 2026, Event Plaza at Marina Bay Sands will be transformed into a vibrant waterfront celebration featuring fundraising experiences, community booths and complimentary live entertainment that encourages the public to support meaningful causes.
The Festival opens on 28 August with performances by Singaporean artist RRILEY, who first debuted as a founding member of local pop quartet The Sam Willows, alongside the Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) Brave Hearts Ensemble, an inclusive performing arts group formed by residents at THK Home for the Disabled at Eunos.
Throughout the three-day Festival, visitors can also enjoy live performances by local bands 53A, The Vibes and SuperSonic, celebrating Singapore’s vibrant music scene while showcasing the power of music to bring communities together.
Enjoy Gourmet Delights While Supporting a Worthy Cause
One of the Festival’s highlights is the Good Bites Market, featuring five gourmet pop-up experiences with proceeds to support multi-service, non-profit organisation, AWWA. The proceeds will support the Enabled Living @ Bedok programme, a pilot initiative to empower individuals with disabilities in independent living .
Marina Bay Sands’ signature restaurants will once again serve specially curated favourites for the Festival.
Guests can enjoy:
- Signature burgers, classic milkshakes and craft beers from Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer
- Gordon’s Fried Chicken, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Festival exclusives from Bread Street Kitchen
- Local favourites including chicken satay, wok-fried prawn noodles, vegetarian carrot cake and breaded crab cake with chilli crab sauce from RISE
For the first time, two retail tenants from The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands are also participating in the Festival.
Roberta’s Pizza will be serving its signature wood-fired New York-style pizzas, while homegrown brand Café Nesuto will offer a selection of pastas, sandwiches, pies and churros.
Creating Real-World Impact Through Interactive Giving
Visitors can also take part in Impact Match, an interactive digital experience where participants create school packs containing essential school supplies.
For every successfully completed digital school pack, Marina Bay Sands will donate a matching school pack to students from NorthLight School, supporting their holistic development and providing financial assistance to students in need.
Giving Marketplace Returns
The popular Giving Marketplace also returns, bringing together 12 local non-profits, social enterprises and small businesses.
Joining the Festival as a first-time participant is Carer, a daycare centre that provides physical care and organises activities to keep seniors happy and engaged through handicrafts such as crocheting. Visitors can also learn more about participating organisations and social enterprises, including APSN, ART:DIS, Cat Welfare Society, Metta Welfare Association, MINDS, Social Gifting, Teddy Thotz, The Green Collective, The Shy Crafter and Yeni Draws.
Community Chest Heartstrings Walk and Race to the Sky Vertical Marathon
Returning as one of the Festival’s signature events, the annual Community Chest Heartstrings Walk and Race to the Sky Vertical Marathon will once again be co-organised by Marina Bay Sands and Community Chest.
Taking place on 29 August, participants can choose between a scenic walk around Marina Bay or challenge themselves with a 57-storey climb to the iconic SkyPark Observation Deck.
The event supports more than 300 critical social service programmes across Singapore.
Dine for Good Throughout August
The spirit of giving continues throughout the month with Dine for Good, running from 1 to 30 August 2026.
To commemorate the Festival’s 12th edition, 12 signature and celebrity chef restaurants at Marina Bay Sands have each selected one hallmark dish, with proceeds supporting AWWA’s Enabled Living @ Bedok programme.
Participating dishes include:

Team Members Continue Making a Difference
At the heart of the Festival is Marina Bay Sands’ 12,000-strong workforce, whose volunteer efforts continue to complement the Festival’s fundraising impact.
Throughout July and August, Team Members will participate in a wide range of volunteering initiatives, including accompanying seniors on scenic trishaw rides around Marina Bay with Cycling Without Age Singapore, befriending adults with intellectual disabilities from MINDS during a visit to the ArtScience Museum, and sprucing up temporary shelters managed by AWWA to enhance the living conditions of lower-income families. In late July, Team Members will also come together to assemble 30,000 hygiene kits through the Sands Cares Hygiene Kit Build initiative in partnership with Clean the World. These kits will support communities in need in Singapore and the Philippines. Together, these initiatives reflect Marina Bay Sands’ longstanding commitment to community stewardship and its belief that collective action can create lasting social impact.
These initiatives reflect Marina Bay Sands’ continued commitment to strengthening communities through volunteerism and collective action.
