Spread the love
We are invited to an intimate cosy Chinese wedding held at My Humble House at Esplanade Mall, the groom is Mummy’s god brother’s elder brother.  We have known the whole family for many years and they are Mummy’s good friends. We are very happy to know that the groom has found his soul mate. Congratulations!

Here comes the lovely wedding couple …

Friends were asking us how is the food at My Humble House?
We have taken photos of all the food that was being served at the wedding. Here goes, it is a feast to both our eyes and tummies.

The 1st dish is called That Warm Feeling
Freshly Peeled Crab Meat Duet with Jellyfish
Smoke Duck Roll with Green Apple
Wasabi Mushroom
Chilled Drunken Chicken Gelo
Fresh Shrimp in Rice Roll

The 2nd dish is called Flight of Fantasy

Braised Shark’s fin Broth with Bamboo Piths and Shredded Chicken

We have not touched Shark’s fin for a long time ever since we have decided to join in the effort to save the sharks. We hope to keep it that way and please do join in the cause of saving the sharks so that they can continue to be around for our future generations to know of this magnificent species.

The 3rd dish is called The Waves Beckon

Steamed Fillet of cod with Ginger and Wolfberries

The 4th dish is called Life is Good

Wu Xi Pork Ribs

The 5th dish is called Abundant Splashes of Luck

Oven Baked boneless Chicken in Smoky Sauce

The 6th dish is called Night is in the Air

Tofu with Dried Scallops and Duo Mushrooms

The 7th dish is called Work-fried E-fu Noodles in X.O Sauce
The 8th and the last dish is called Lemongrass Gelo with Lime Sorbet

Overall, majority of the dishes are tasty and Gor Gor enjoyed eating them. Infact we were all very full after eating so many dishes. In our opinion, the best dish is the 4th dish which is called Life is Good which is actually Wu Xi Pork Ribs. This dish is a specialty of Jiangsu Province, China and are reputed to be number 1 spare ribs located south of the Yangtze River. The meat is very tender, succulent and cooked to perfection.

The lovely Auntie Carmon and Princess, she is only 6 months old. She is such a sweet girl.

The handsome Uncle Lloyd, looking good.

Thank you Uncle Richmond, Uncle Lloyd, Auntie Carmon and family for your invitation!

  1. Keep up the wonderful piece of work, I study couple of articles on this website and I conceive that your website is truly interesting and has got sets of fantastic information.

  2. Hi,

I want to check with you. The bride and groom ordered set menu for their wedding right? So for children, are they having the same set as adults?

    • Hi SA, yes, the couple ordered set menu. The children are also having the same menu as the adults for our friend’s wedding. You can talk to the restaurant to see whether they have other arrangement.
