Conrad Centennial Singapore’s opulent Lobby Lounge is once again set to enchant guests with the latest installment of its signature “Language of Flowers” Afternoon Tea series. From May 1st to July 31st, 2024, patrons are invited to embark on a sensory odyssey through the captivating realm of flowers, all within the intimate ambiance of an afternoon tête-à-tête.

Savouring the Floral Symphony

Under the creative guidance of Executive Pastry Chef Richard Chew and his culinary team, each element of the afternoon tea is a meticulous homage to the art of floriography, where messages are conveyed through the language of flowers. From the moment guests are seated, they are greeted by the inviting aroma of the Chrysanthemum Rise, a refreshing concoction blending chrysanthemum tea, cherry blossom syrup, and calamansi juice.

Sweet and Savoury Delights

The journey begins with the Sakura, a delightful fusion of sakura mousse, raspberry jam, red velvet sponge, almond sable, and honeycomb, evoking the spirit of spring with every bite. Following suit is the Osmanthus, a fragrant ode to love and romance in the Far East, featuring osmanthus jelly paired with a delicate osmanthus cream, Joconde sponge, and sable dough.

For those craving savoury sensations, the Yellow Daisy beckons with its toothsome amalgamation of crab rillette, celeriac, crème fraiche, ikura, and coriander cress on brioche, while the Alyssum charms with smoked salmon, cucumber, cream cheese, cranberry, and trout caviar on hazelnut bread, embodying worth beyond mere beauty.

The Complete Experience

No afternoon tea is complete without homemade classic and raisin scones, served with clotted cream and homemade wild strawberry jam, rounding off the experience with timeless elegance.
