Star Wars fans in Singapore are in for a treat as Lazada teams up with LEGO Singapore to launch the region’s first-ever LEGO Star Wars Super Brand Day on 12 May. Timed with the buzz of Star Wars Day and building anticipation for The Mandalorian & Grogu film release, the campaign brings a galaxy of exclusive drops, fan experiences, and limited-edition collectables to shoppers.
With LEGO Star Wars consistently ranking among Lazada’s top-performing brands, the campaign taps into strong and sustained fan demand, engaging both casual fans and dedicated collectors. During Lazada’s recent Birthday Sale, the LEGO Official Store recorded a 153-fold increase in sales compared to non-campaign periods in Singapore. This performance was supported by broader category growth, with the Toys and Games category increasing by almost 4 times, highlighting rising interest in collectible and play-driven purchases. Globally, LEGO Star Wars remains one of LEGO’s top-selling themes [1], underscoring its enduring popularity across generations.
For two weeks only, fans can get their hands on six LEGO Star Wars sets, available exclusively online on Lazada. On 12 May, shoppers can also unlock Lazada-exclusive deals up to 35% OFF selected sets across the LEGO store, making it the perfect time to build, gift, or upgrade their collection.
To deepen fan engagement, Lazada and LEGO Singapore will also roll out an interactive social media contest inviting fans to pledge their allegiance to “Team Rebel” or “Team Empire”, inspired by one of the saga’s most iconic rivalries. Two winners will score highly sought-after LEGO SMART Play sets, including Luke Skywalker’s Red Five X-Wing and Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter, both not yet released in Singapore.
