Family holidays have evolved beyond simply choosing a destination or booking a comfortable hotel. Today, families are seeking meaningful experiences that bring everyone together, creating memories that last long after the holiday ends. Recognising this growing desire for more engaging family travel, Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) has introduced MyMillennium Kids, a thoughtfully designed programme that transforms every stay into an exciting journey for young travellers.
During our stay at M Social Phuket, one of the first participating hotels to launch the programme, we had the opportunity to discover the newly launched MyMillennium Kids initiative and how it goes beyond traditional hospitality. From interactive experiences and thoughtful surprises to rewarding adventures designed especially for children, the programme reflects Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ commitment to making every family holiday even more meaningful.
A New Chapter in Family-Focused Hospitality
Officially launched on 1 August 2026, MyMillennium Kids marks the first children’s programme under the MyMillennium loyalty platform. Created exclusively for children aged 5 to 10 staying with a MyMillennium member for a minimum of two consecutive nights, the initiative is designed to ensure that younger guests feel just as welcomed and valued as their parents throughout their stay.
The programme debuts across six Millennium Hotels and Resorts properties in the Asia Pacific region, including M Social Phuket, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore, Orchard Hotel Singapore, M Hotel Singapore City Centre, M Social Resort Penang, and M Social Hotel Suzhou, before expanding to Europe and the United States in 2027.
While many hotels offer children’s amenities, MyMillennium Kids introduces something refreshingly different. Rather than focusing on a single activity or welcome gift, it creates an ongoing adventure that encourages children to explore, discover and look forward to every future stay.
Turning Every Stay into an Adventure

At the heart of MyMillennium Kids is the Adventure Passport, an engaging collectible booklet that invites children to become little explorers from the moment they arrive.
Each eligible child receives their own Adventure Passport to collect exclusive stickers at participating Millennium Hotels and Resorts. Along the way, they can complete fun side missions and unlock milestone rewards as they continue their journey across different properties.
The rewards make every achievement even more exciting. Young travellers can enjoy complimentary kids’ desserts, receive the adorable Muriel the Cow plush toy, earn a complimentary room upgrade on a future stay, collect exclusive MyMillennium Kids merchandise and even receive a Junior World Explorer Certificate after reaching key milestones.
What impressed us most is that the Adventure Passport is more than simply a rewards programme. It encourages children to remain curious, celebrate every journey and look forward to discovering another Millennium Hotels and Resorts destination with their families.
Thoughtful Details That Make Children Feel Special
One of the strengths of MyMillennium Kids lies in its attention to the little details.

Upon arrival, children are welcomed with a letter from Muriel the Cow, the cheerful mascot of the programme, creating an immediate sense of excitement. Property-specific gifts, snack treats and a creative “Do Not Disturb – Junior Explorer Inside” door hanger that children can decorate themselves add a playful touch that makes the hotel stay feel uniquely their own.
These thoughtful gestures may seem small individually, but together they create a warm arrival experience that helps children feel recognised and included from the very beginning of their holiday.
It is this attention to detail that distinguishes MyMillennium Kids from many traditional children’s programmes.
A Relaxing Retreat with Contemporary Comfort

One of our first impressions upon checking into M Social Phuket was just how spacious, bright and welcoming the room felt. Beautifully designed with a contemporary flair inspired by Phuket’s tropical energy, the stylish interiors, warm wood accents and vibrant touches created a relaxing atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. Floor-to-ceiling windows welcomed an abundance of natural light, further enhancing the room’s airy and inviting ambience.
We were especially impressed by the room’s generous layout and thoughtful design, which balanced style with everyday comfort. Overlooking the hotel’s sparkling swimming pool, the private balcony was a lovely place to unwind, whether enjoying a quiet morning with a cup of coffee or simply relaxing after a day of activities. The plush king-sized bed, cosy seating area and well-appointed amenities made it easy to settle in and enjoy every moment of our stay.

Adding a modern touch to the experience was the AI voice assistant, which we found both convenient and enjoyable to use. From accessing useful room information to interacting with selected room features through simple voice commands, it added a unique and interactive element to our stay. Combined with the room’s contemporary design and comfortable surroundings, it reflected M Social Phuket’s lifestyle concept perfectly.
More than just a place to rest, the room provided a welcoming sanctuary where we could relax and recharge after each day’s adventures. Blending contemporary comfort, thoughtful technology and a peaceful pool view, it was a memorable part of our overall experience at M Social Phuket.
Bringing MyMillennium Kids to Life at M Social Phuket
As one of the first hotels to introduce the programme, M Social Phuket provided the perfect backdrop to experience its family-focused philosophy.
Situated in the heart of Patong with direct access to Jungceylon Shopping Centre and just a short walk from Patong Beach, the hotel combines stylish contemporary accommodation with a vibrant atmosphere that appeals to travellers of all ages.
During our stay in the Sunkissed Wing, we appreciated the bright interiors, modern comforts and welcoming environment that perfectly complemented the youthful energy behind MyMillennium Kids. The spacious room, colourful design and thoughtful amenities created a comfortable retreat after each day’s activities.
Creating Shared Family Experiences
Beyond its contemporary accommodation, M Social Phuket places a strong emphasis on creating meaningful experiences that bring families together.
As part of our 3D2N media familiarisation (FAM) trip, we were invited to participate in a thoughtfully curated itinerary that offered a glimpse into the hotel’s family-focused hospitality. From creative towel-folding and decorating sessions to hands-on culinary experiences, each activity was thoughtfully designed to encourage interaction, creativity and shared enjoyment.

One of the highlights was a sushi-making workshop, where the hotel’s chefs guided us through the art of preparing sushi while sharing useful culinary tips along the way. It was an enjoyable hands-on experience that encouraged creativity while offering a deeper appreciation of Japanese cuisine.
We also took part in a lively mocktail-making session, creating colourful tropical beverages using fresh ingredients. The relaxed and interactive atmosphere made it an enjoyable activity that guests of all ages could appreciate.

Another memorable experience was the Master Chef Competition, hosted by the hotel’s Executive Chef, where participants worked together in a fun and friendly culinary competition. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn new cooking skills while sharing plenty of laughter and teamwork.
To experience a part of Thailand’s rich cultural heritage, we also took part in a Muay Thai session led by professional instructors. Suitable even for beginners, the session introduced the fundamentals of Thailand’s national sport in an encouraging and energetic environment.
While some of the experiences featured during our FAM programme were specially curated for the visit and may not be part of the standard MyMillennium Kids offering, they provided valuable insight into Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ commitment to family-focused hospitality. Guests are encouraged to check with M Social Phuket prior to their stay for the latest family activities and experiences available.
Together with the launch of MyMillennium Kids, these thoughtfully planned experiences demonstrate how Millennium Hotels and Resorts is creating opportunities for families to spend quality time together, strengthen meaningful connections and create lasting memories that extend well beyond a traditional hotel stay.
Dining That Completes the Experience
No family holiday is complete without good food, and M Social Phuket offers a variety of dining experiences that cater to both adults and younger guests.
At Beast & Butterflies, the hotel’s signature all-day dining restaurant, guests can savour a delightful selection of Asian and Western favourites prepared with fresh ingredients in a contemporary and welcoming setting. Whether it’s a leisurely breakfast to start the day or a relaxed dinner after a day of exploring, the restaurant provides an inviting space for families to gather and enjoy quality time over delicious food.
For lovers of Japanese cuisine, Bincho Izakaya offers freshly prepared sushi, sashimi and grilled specialities in a cosy yet stylish atmosphere, making it another excellent dining option within the hotel.

What stood out to us was how dining became another opportunity for families to connect. Watching children happily tuck into their meals while parents relaxed and enjoyed theirs created a warm and joyful atmosphere that perfectly reflected the spirit of MyMillennium Kids. After all, some of the most treasured holiday memories are often made around the dining table, where good food, laughter and meaningful conversations bring families even closer together.
Why MyMillennium Kids Matters
Family travel continues to evolve, and today’s parents are increasingly looking beyond accommodation alone. They want holidays that create opportunities for connection, learning and shared experiences.
This is where MyMillennium Kids stands out.
Rather than simply entertaining children, the programme encourages exploration, creativity and participation. The Adventure Passport inspires children to discover more destinations, while personalised surprises and engaging experiences help make each hotel stay feel unique.
Combined with the warm hospitality experienced at M Social Phuket, MyMillennium Kids demonstrates how thoughtful details can elevate an ordinary family holiday into something much more memorable.
